Greyhound Rescue Wales is the rescue and rehoming charity for greyhounds and lurchers in Wales, based at Hillcrest Rehoming Centre in Garnant, near Ammanford. They began in 1993 in the Swansea area and now take in dogs from across Wales, most given up by their owners. At Hillcrest they rehabilitate hounds until they are ready for a home, and they also place some dogs with foster carers. Their PALS project supports dogs that need extra time and training, and they campaign for an end to greyhound racing in Wales. We list the greyhounds and lurchers they currently advertise for adoption. Visits to Hillcrest are by appointment.
